High Honors for Pardee Homes at International Builders Show
Homebuilder Earns Gold & Silver Awards at The Nationals
Los Angeles, Feb. 2, 2009 -- Pardee Homes has won two Gold and six Silver Awards in The Nationals, an annual competition noting high achievement in new home design, merchandising and marketing. The Sales and Marketing Council of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) sponsors The Nationals, and celebrated the winners at a January 20 gala as part of NAHB’s International Builders Show (IBS) in Las Vegas.

Online Marketing—Pardee Homes honors included a Silver Award for its website, www.pardeehomes.com, as Best Website by a Builder. LJG Partners of San Diego, California is the website design firm.
Community Design—The Nationals judges noted new home communities from two of Pardee Homes’ principal new home markets. In San Diego, the company won a Gold Award for On the Boards Detached Community, for Shaw Lorenz. The upcoming residential enclave is part of San Diego’s Carmel Valley area. Bassenian/Lagoni Architects, SJA Landscape Architects and Latitude 33 are the community design and site planning firms for Shaw Lorenz; Burton Associates of Solana Beach contributed to the project’s preliminary planning.
At Lake Las Vegas, the luxury series of Bella Fiore took a Silver Award for Detached Community of the Year and a Gold Award for model home landscaping. Also earning a Silver Award was the Plan Six model, the latest design in this architectural series. Bella Fiore model home landscaping is by SJA Landscape Architects of San Juan Capistrano, California; model home interiors are by Color Design Art of Culver City, California; and architecture is by Bassenian/Lagoni Architects of Newport Beach, California. Advertising and graphics are by Zukor Design and Greenhaus, both of San Diego.
New Home Design—Also named a Silver winner was Pardee Homes’ Rosetta at Mountain’s Edge, where Plan Four was noted for architectural design of homes priced from $225,001 to $399,999. Architecture is by LGS Architects of Irvine, California. In the company’s Inland Empire market, Estrella Plan 3 at Sundance in Beaumont earned a Silver for architectural design of homes priced under $225,000.
Sales Environment—Silver Award winners Silverthorne, Broadleaf and Stonefield, all in the Lake Elsinore master-planned community of Canyon Hills, were noted for the unified, interactive marketing presentation of these three neighborhoods in the Interactive Point of Sale category. Project consultant was p11 Creative of Irvine, California.
