Roxburgh Opens Doors to Building Pros

Agency Links Office Space With Industry Think Tank

Costa Mesa , Calif., April 7, 2009 -- The Roxburgh Agency is holding “open house” with congenial office space and opportunities to engage in its new SPEAK (Study Panel for Education, Activism and Knowledge) initiative. Launch coincides with the advertising/marketing agency’s anniversary this month, and looks quite different from a typical celebration of 29 years in business.

“If there is one thing our work in real estate development has taught us, it’s that the people in this field are creative, intelligent and resilient,” said Claudia Roxburgh, agency founder and president. “With Open House and SPEAK, we aim to generate a collective that taps into these qualities and generates beneficial—even exceptional—ideas for our business, the industry and the greater community.”

Open House offers free space in its Costa Mesa offices for up to 12 building industry professionals, who are starting new businesses in the industry or providing consulting services. Tenants agree to participate in SPEAK’s twice-monthly sessions.

SPEAK will focus on specific topics or issues, in casual gatherings that include tenants, Roxburgh staff and selected industry leaders.  SPEAK will feature structured assignments with outside feedback, open dialogue and opportunities for participants to lead a session or to invite particular speakers.
