Dahlin Group Takes 8 Grand Honors in Gold Nugget Awards

Smaller, Smarter Homes and International Work Highlight Firm's Winners

San Francisco, Calif. June 21, 2009 -- Dahlin Group Architecture Planning led all winners in the 2009 Gold Nugget Awards, collecting eight Grand and 14 Merit honors, including Residential Project of the Year, Detached. The Gold Nugget Awards competition honors architectural design and planning excellence in 14 Western States and internationally; winners were celebrated June 18 at PCBC®, the nation’s largest regional conference and trade show for real estate development.

Higher density, greener detached home neighborhoods, attached housing and redevelopment site planning accounted for five of Dahlin Group’s Grand Awards, with two for international work and one for custom home design. Tops in their categories, Grand Awards came from the Merit Award winners judges selected in May. See winners and judges’ comments at http://www.goldnuggetawards.com.

“We are deeply gratified to be recognized by a program that has long exemplified the best of the best to the design, planning and development community,” said Doug Dahlin, founder and president of Dahlin Group Architecture Planning. “We thank the judges, and our clients, who share the firm’s commitment to exemplary land use and design.”
