Pardee Homes Takes Eight Honors at The Nationals

Los Angeles, Dec. 19, 2008 -- Pardee Homes has earned eight Silver Awards in The Nationals, with judges of the annual competition noting the company’s achievements in creating and marketing its new homes and communities in California and Nevada. The Nationals program recognizes excellence in new home design, merchandising and marketing and is sponsored by the Sales and Marketing Council of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

This year’s competition drew more than 800 submittals from throughout the U.S.  Award winners will be celebrated January 20 as part of NAHB’s annual International Builders Show in Las Vegas. Highlighting the celebration is announcement of Gold Award winners, which are chosen from the pool of Silver winners.  See www.thenationals.com for more information.

Pardee Homes’ new website, www.pardeehomes.com won a Silver Award for Best Website by a Builder. LJG Partners of San Diego, California is the website design firm.

The Nationals judges noted new home communities from two of Pardee Homes’ principal new home markets. At Lake Las Vegas, the luxury series of Bella Fiore took a Silver Award for Detached Community of the Year; for model home landscaping; and for interior merchandising of the Plan Six model, the latest design in the Bella Fiore architectural series. Bella Fiore model home interiors are by Color Design Art of Culver City, California; model home landscaping is by SJA Landscape Architects of San Juan Capistrano, California; and architecture is by Bassenian/Lagoni Architects of Newport Beach, California. Advertising and graphics are by Zukor Design and Greenhaus, both of San Diego.

Also a Silver winner in Las Vegas is Pardee Homes’ Rosetta at Mountain’s Edge, where Rosetta Plan Four was noted for architectural design of homes priced from $225,001 to $399,999. Architecture is by LGS Architects of Irvine, California.

In Pardee Homes’ San Diego market, Shaw Lorenz was honored with a Silver Award for On the Boards Detached Community. The upcoming residential enclave is part of San Diego’s Carmel Valley area. Bassenian/Lagoni Architects, SJA Landscape Architects and Latitude 33 are the community design and site planning firms for Shaw Lorenz; Burton Associates of Solana Beach contributed to the project’s preliminary planning.

Also honored in the Nationals were several projects in Pardee Homes’ Inland Empire Market. Estrella Plan 3 at Sundance in Beaumont was honored for architectural design of homes priced under $225,000. Silverthorne, Broadleaf and Stonefield, all in the Lake Elsinore master-planned community of Canyon Hills, were noted for the unified, interactive marketing presentation of these three neighborhoods in the Interactive Point of Sale category. Project consultant was p11 Creative of Irvine, California.
